Anonymous Submissions

You have full control over your privacy. Every submission form includes an anonymous option that you can toggle on or off.

When you choose anonymous submission:

  • No personal information required - name, phone, and email fields are hidden
  • We cannot contact you for follow-up questions
  • You can still track your submission using the reference number provided
  • Basic device and timestamp information may still be collected for security purposes

When you choose non-anonymous submission, providing your contact information is optional but recommended - it allows us to follow up with you for clarification or updates on your submission.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

With Law Enforcement

Complaints and applauds are shared with the Liberia National Police (LNP) for investigation and recognition purposes. Your contact information is kept confidential and only shared with authorized personnel handling your case.

Public Reports

We may publish aggregated, anonymized statistics and reports for transparency purposes. These reports do not contain personally identifiable information.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

Note: Once a complaint or applaud is submitted and under investigation, we may not be able to delete it due to legal and investigative requirements. However, since providing personal information is optional, you can choose to submit anonymously from the start if you have privacy concerns.

Children's Privacy

FindOfficer is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

  • Updating the "Last updated" date
  • Sending an in-app notification (for significant changes)
